Our administration would like to bring to your attention MSA No. 03-2023 SECURITY INCIDENTS IN UKRAINIAN WATERS issued by the International Merchant Marine Registry of Belize to be aware of the ongoing maritime security incidents occurring in the Black Sea as well as to be aware of the increased hazards associated when operating near and through Ukrainian ports. Our Belize-flagged vessels are urged to obtain the relevant NAVAREA III warnings prior to commencing any voyage. We ask that you always remain in contact with our administration when transiting within the exclusive economic zone of Ukraine and the Black Sea for security purposes.
